I’m an aspiring author, speaker and performer that has spent the last decade as an independent information technology
consultant. While the experience of running my own business was an education, there was always a desire to do more than fix
computers.
The truth is, I’ve been dragging my feet for most of my life. From childhood, to youth, to adulthood, I’ve lived in fear of
leaving my comfort zone, but life is about change and change is what I’m doing. I’m taking risks and trying new things that will
help me escape the shadows I’ve spent my life in.
When I realized I had plateaued in my business, I slowly accepted the fact that future personal growth would require a change.
Well I made a change and find myself with a new job in a new house in a new state and in the midst of a new culture I’ve never
experienced before. I left my grown children behind and Cori and I are now empty nesters.
This blog represents one of the risks I’m choosing to take in an effort to expand my circle of influence. Amongst the many
lessons I’ve learned in the last decade of working closely with technology is the power of technology to expand our reach. I’ve
decided that if I have a interest in writing, then I’m going to write and publish right here. If I want to speak, again, I can
do it right here and reach the world with a mouse click. If I want to sing, I can produce it myself and share it right here.
