The Shakespeare Education Project | Interview Video Production

Clarity Snapshot:

Ken needed a way to share the heart and purpose of the Shakespeare Education Project without losing the warmth, intimacy, and lived experience behind it.
This video brought his story into focus—clear, human, and grounded in the mission that drives his work.

Description:

When Ken Sorensen co-founded The Shakespeare Education Project, his goal was simple and ambitious: make Shakespeare feel alive again for students and communities. Not dusty. Not distant. But human, relevant, and worth leaning in for.

To help him share that vision, I crafted a long-form interview video that gives viewers a quiet seat in Ken’s living room. His reflections carry the narrative, while layered visuals—stills from Stratford-upon-Avon, classroom interactions, guest speakers, and live performances—expand the frame and show the reach of the project.

By cutting out the interviewer entirely and letting Ken’s voice lead, the piece becomes less of a Q&A and more of a story. A mission. A man explaining why this work matters.

Project Highlights:

  • Guided Interview Storytelling
A conversation structured to draw out lived experience and genuine purpose.
  • Cinematic, Layered Editing
Ken’s voice supported by imagery from Stratford, performances, and classroom moments.
  • Mission-Centered Narrative
Focused on meaning and impact rather than interview mechanics.
  • Educational Resonance
Created to introduce new audiences to the project’s value and spark curiosity.
  • Flexible Use
Optimized for YouTube, but clean and versatile enough for presentations, classrooms, and outreach.

Outcome

The final video doesn’t just document the project—it brings it to life.
It offers an intimate view of the man behind the mission and a wider lens on how his work is helping a new generation experience Shakespeare with fresh eyes.
